In my heart, I have always believed that education was the one thing that no one could take from me. Growing up in the performing arts world, I saw first hand how my love for the arts molded my outlook on education. My ability to retain information, confidently read in front of my peers and adapt to change, became much easier once I fused the two together. My overall performance changed dramatically without even realizing what I was doing. In 2016, when I started my first business, Blu’s Dance Studio, I knew I didn't want my dance center to JUST be about dance. I wanted my dancers to have the knowledge and education behind the movements. I felt that it was essential for them to have a more therapeutic environment so that they could dance as freely on the dance floor as I did.

In 2020, I realized I wanted to be an early childhood educator. I wanted to groom the future leaders of tomorrow. I loved training and education and helping others like me learn outside the box; whether it was in dance, song or play. That's when I knew I needed to pursue teaching children on a broader scope. My experience from working in a daycare center taught me so much and increased my passion. I am proud to announce that I obtained my CDA! I knew this is what I was destined to do.

I love dance, spending time with family, playing with my children, traveling abroad, church, creating memories with others, and my alone time. I obtained my undergraduate degree from St. Peter's University in Criminal Justice, with a minor in Sociology. I received my Masters in Justice Administration and Security. After 5+ years working in the criminal justice field, I decided I wanted to pursue my dreams and passion of opening my own business working with youth.
